The department of finance has promised today to start "mopping up" measures to ensure that same sex couples recieve the same tax incentives and breaks as their heterosexual counterparts

Is it disheartening or encouraging that the "financial" side of equality is more easily won , than the ethical ?

Will this lead to oppurtunistic same sex sham marriages?
